What is an Escape Room?
An escape room is a real-life, immersive game where players work together to solve puzzles and find clues to accomplish a goal within a time limit in order to escape! Choose your theme, schedule your adventure, gather your team, then solve the many puzzles that await you & find your escape in less than 60 minutes!!
How much does it cost?
The cost to play is a flat $99 for teams of 2 or 3 people. For teams larger than 3, the price changes to $30 per person, plus tax.
How Do I book an Escape Room & do I need to reserve in advance?
We have a limited number of reservation times available each day for each Escape Room. Be sure to book your room early. Reserving online is the best way to purchase tickets in advance. We do require all Escape Rooms be reserved at least 2 hours in advance. If you are wanting to reserve an Escape Room within 2 hours, please call the office at 802-388-4935 to check availability. Making a reservtion online is the best method to reserve your Escape Room. Click HERE to book your reservation now. You can also give us a call at 802-388-4935 to reserve your room. Again, please reserve a room at least 2 hours prior to your start time.
Do you accept walk ins?
We do accept Walk Ins but we can not guarantee availability of an Escape Room. Whether or not you can participate in an Escape Room will depend on if it's available for the time slot you want AND if we have a Game Master available to run your room.
What are your hours?
Our hours will vary depending on when we have reservations. But we are always open when the candy shop is open which is 10am - 5pm 7 days a week. We are only open during the evening when we have a reservtion booked. With that in mind, please see the above questions regarding our policy on Walk Ins.
What is the payment policy?
Whether reserving online or over the phone, a $30 non refundable deposit is required at the time of your booking. You can reschedule if you call at least 48 hours before your scheduled escape room, but rescheduling will not be allowed within 48 hours of your scheduled escape room. You may pay the full amount at the time you make the reservation if you wish. Otherwise, you will be charged your remaining balance when you arrive to play your the game.
Can individuals pay seperate for an experience?
Yes, please call our office at (802) 388-4935 prior to booking your reservation.
Is there an age limit?
We strongly recommend ages 8 and up for active participation in our escape room games, however, younger players are welcome to play at our facility. We have found even younger players can contribue a lot to the game with older siblings and family members help! Any child 2 and under is free but they MUST be carried, in a carrier or stroller at all times for their own safety. If they are let on to the floor during the game at any time, you will be charged the normal particpant fee for your child that is under 2. Children 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult while playing an Escape Room and all children, especially younger children, need to be supervised at all times while in the Escape Room. We are not responsible for accidents that may occur during game play. All rooms are safe with proper supervision. Children 14 years and older can play a game without an adult in the room, but an adult will need to sign a waiver for all kids participating before the game begins. We also expect prompt pick up of children 14 and up when playing without an adult in the room.
When should my group arrive?
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your game. This will give you time to use the restroom, sign waivers if you haven't done so already online and watch our video which goes over rules of the escape room and the story for the room you have chosen. If we have rooms scheduled after your experience and you are late, we will have to shorten your experience to less than 60 minutes. So please be on time!!
What if I'm late for my adventure?
These are live-action escape experiences. You must arrive on time in order to participate. We cannot wait for latecomers. Please allow ample time for traffic. If you are late, this may result in your time to complete your room to be shortened.
What should we bring?
If you use reading glasses, bring them along otherwise, all you will need is your wits! No outside resources can be used during your game, everything you need will be provided to you!
How long is an Escape Room experience?
Each experience can last for up to 60 minutes however, plan on arriving 15 minutes beforehand and staying an upwards of 15 minutes more after your experience has concluded, totaling about 90 minutes on our premises. Plan on some extra time if you plan to visit our candy shop as well!
Will we be playing with strangers?
No. All Escape Rooms are private and for your group only.
What if we find the room too hard?
Every team member can play a role in your adventure no matter what their age. Your Game Master will be watching behind the scenes and will provide hints, if necessary, to help you move along. So don't worry if you get stuck, your Game Master has got your back!
Are any of your Escape Rooms scary?
Some of our Escape Rooms may be a little spooky but not scary! Fun and exciting, absolutely! Our goal is to make ALL of our rooms a great experience for adventurers of all ages!
Do we actually get "locked" in the Escape Room?
Absolutely not! Being locked in is only implied but the door is always unlocked and you are free to come and go as you please. We do recommend not leaving the room unless absolutely necessary. We will always recommend that you use the restroom before you start your adventure to avoid leaving because you need to use the restroom. Your team needs you and you need to use your time wisely to escape in time!
Will prior knowledge be needed to solve puzzles?
No, all of our clues can be solved from clues found within the room. However, you will have to depend on the help of your teammates and problem solving skills to escape.
Can I reschedule an event?
Groups may reschedule their escape room experience no less than 48 hours prior to their booking time. Reschedules within 48 hours of your scheduled time are treated as cancellations and are therefore non-transferrable or refundable.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel we offer no refunds of your $30 deposit. You can however reschedule your experience as long as you contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled escape room. Can I add or remove people from my reservation?
We can not refund you for guests that do not show up in your group unless you contact us at least 24 hours in advance of the change. You can however add people to your group up until your arrival time. You may either edit your reservation through your confirmation email, call our office at (802) 388-4935 or let us know once you arrive for the game. We can charge the card used at the time of sign-up, or collect additional payment the day of your experience.
We recommend that you book your room in advance for the minimum number of people required or for the amount of people you are positive will be attending. You can add people up until your arrival time, but you will not be refunded for last minute no show participants in your group.
Can you accomodate large parties or private events?
